You can keep a dvd for 6 months if you like. There are no late fees to worry about and you can watch them anytime you like. Forget the rush and hassle of returning movies on time! When you are finished with a disk, put it in the pre-paid mailer, stick it in your mailbox and raise the flag. As soon as they get it back, they will send you the next dvd on your list that is currently in stock. It is really that simple. My own experience on Hilton Head is that it takes about 3-4 days for them to receive the disk back into inventory and about 2-3 days to get the next one to you. This means you have a constant supply of movies coming all the time almost as fast as you can watch them. You can even add movies to your list that haven't been released yet so that you get it as soon as it becomes available. When they ship a DVD to you, they email you to let you know what shipped from your list. You can resequence and add movies to your list anytime you like. Although they call it "unlimited dvd rentals", in actuality you can probably only receive, watch and return about 5-8 movies per month on the standard plan.
